Sales representative – electrical products (Toronto territory)

Job description:

Your main function will be to provide sales advice on the various electrical products offered by manufacturers affiliated with edp electric. Proposing to our clients the required technical support, reporting to the Sales Director – electrical products, as well as working closely with the various departments at edp.

Job overview :

Create and consolidate strong customer relationships ;

Coordinate promotions with manufacturers for industrial and electrical products ;

Presentations to distributors / contractors

Ensure that our distribution inventory is well presented to achieve sales targets ;

Deploy distribution inventory sales strategies ;

Establish and consolidate a network of contacts among distributors / contractors ;

Provide documentation and information on industrial and electrical products of our electric line card ;

Find and propose solutions according to customer request ;

Create demand among entrepreneurs ;

Actively participate in various sales strategy meetings organized by distributors and edp electric division ;

Act as a link between edp internal representatives and distributors ;

Carry out all related tasks regarding this evolving position*.

Qualifications required

You have a college level education or relevant sales experience that could be considered equivalent;

You have at least two (2) years of experience in the electrical field ;

You are bilingual in French and English (French is a must) ;

You know how to show initiative;

You care about details and work rigorously;

You are able to take on several tasks simultaneously ;

You have a strong work ethic and organizational skills ;

You understand and appreciate the dynamics of an 85 employee agency ;

You are self-motivated and ambitious ;

You have all the skills to work in a team ;

You have a valid Canadian passport and drivers license.
